Karekarrme (keeping place) is a collaboration between the Australian Conservation Foundation and the Gundjeihmi Aboriginal Corporation. It brings together a virtual exhibition and a living online archive to document and protect the history of resistance to uranium mining on Mirarr country. It is a virtual space to gather, preserve and share materials that show the shift from Kakadu as a mineral province to a region working towards a post-mining future.
